By accessing or using the YouTing website and mobile application ("App"), you agree to how we handle your information. As a platform connecting travel creators and fans globally, we take your data privacy seriously.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you directly provide, including but not limited to:
- Account Data: Email addresses, display names, profile photos, and Google/YouTube authentication tokens.
- Location Data: Precise geolocation (if permitted) required to enable proximity-based networking and map features.
- App Activity: Chat logs, app interactions, preferences, Spot and Sponsor Market applications.
2. How We Use Your Information
We heavily rely on user data to enable core platform features, including:
- Mapping users by location to provide real-time proximity matching.
- Facilitating direct user-to-user messaging.
- Verifying creator identities via external APIs (e.g., YouTube Data API).
- Providing push notifications and system alerts.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data to traditional marketing agencies. However, we may share information under the following circumstances:
- With other Users: Your profile, public photos, exact or approximate location (when "Visible on Map" is enabled) is visible to other users.
- Business Transfers: If the Company undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal information will be transferred to the acquiring entity as an asset of the platform.
- Legal Obligations: We will comply with valid subpoenas, court orders, and law enforcement requests to protect the safety of users or the public.
Because YouTing is fundamentally a proximity-based networking app, your GPS coordinates are used to calculate distances. When your profile is set to "Visible" on the Map, other users can pinpoint your approximate or exact location. The Company is absolved of liability related to physical tracking stemming from your use of the location features. If you wish to hide your location, you must manually turn off your visibility.
4. Security & Data Retention
We employ industry-standard encryption (via Google Firebase) to secure your data. You may delete your account at any time via the Settings screen. Upon deletion, your account and associated profile data will be permanently removed from our active database.
5. Google API Services Usage Disclosure
YouTing uses the YouTube Data API to retrieve your YouTube channel information (channel name, subscriber count, profile picture) for creator verification purposes. This data is read-only and is used solely within the YouTing app to display your creator profile.
YouTing's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
By using YouTing, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge Google's Privacy Policy.
You can revoke YouTing's access to your Google data at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

3. 정보의 제3자 제공 및 위탁
유팅은 사용자의 사전 동의 없이 개인정보를 외부에 판매하지 않습니다. 단, 안정적인 서비스 제공을 위해 아래 외부 서비스를 이용합니다.
- Google Firebase: 사용자 인증, 데이터베이스(Firestore), 푸시 알림(FCM) 보관
- Google Maps API: 지도 표시 및 위치 기반 서비스 제공
YouTing은 위치 기반 네트워킹을 지원하므로, "지도 및 피드에 표시" 옵션이 켜져 있을 때 다른 사용자가 귀하의 위치를 파악할 수 있습니다. 운영사는 자발적인 위치 공개로 인해 발생하는 모든 물리적 위험(추적 등)에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다. 원치 않을 경우 반드시 지도 노출을 꺼주시기 바랍니다.
4. 데이터 보관 및 파기
사용자가 회원 탈퇴(계정 삭제)를 요청할 경우, 해당 정보와 생성 데이터는 즉시, 영구적으로 복구 불가능하게 파기됩니다.
5. Google API 서비스 사용 고지
유팅은 YouTube Data API를 사용하여 크리에이터 인증 목적으로 YouTube 채널 정보(채널명, 구독자 수, 프로필 사진)를 조회합니다. 이 데이터는 읽기 전용이며, 유팅 앱 내 크리에이터 프로필 표시에만 사용됩니다.
유팅의 Google API를 통해 수신된 정보의 사용 및 전송은 제한적 사용 요구사항을 포함한 Google API 서비스 사용자 데이터 정책을 준수합니다.
유팅 사용 시 YouTube 서비스 약관에 동의하며, Google 개인정보처리방침을 확인한 것으로 간주됩니다.
